Burke Mountain Pioneer Park Opening Day May 2018

The rain stopped and the sun came out for the official opening of Burke Mountain Pioneer Park in Coquitlam BC.  It was a really nice opening with a tasty bbq, live music, fun games and a few words from the City of Coquitlam and Wesbild.  The beautiful 4.4 acre park was designed by Durante Kreuk Ltd. Landscape Architecture and funding was shared equally by the City of Coquitlam and Wesbild.  It was a pleasure working on this project and we're thrilled to have provided the sculptural play equipment.

Which Rock is the Replica?

One of the rocks below is a Wavestone replica and one is real basalt.  A local architectural firm in BC set the bar by claiming that only the best rockwork companies can replicate basalt.  Do you think we passed the test?
